A Yalie Wedding

In October, I also had a wonderful college reunion with my friends in New Haven.  We all made our way from New York City into our old stomping ground for our good friend Julia's wedding on Yale's campus.  It was a lovely, early evening ceremony.  Instead of throwing rice or blowing bubbles, we all lit sparklers as the couple came down the chapel stairs.  This was particularly charming at twilight when the glow of the firecrackers lit up everyone's faces and made the jewels on Julia's gown glisten.  As a surprise, (well, Julia was in on it!) I sang Etta James' version of "At Last" for the couple's first dance. Thanks for recording a bit of it, Remi!
