Another food adventure! The weekend of the conference, the PhD Lab scholars headed to a hip restaurant called Mangos in the Miraflores district. The restaurant is set into a cliff side that overlooks the Pacific Ocean - how cool! Unsurprisingly, it is a seafood restaurant. I took advantage of our proximity to the docks and enjoyed a lovely seafood entree -- a simple white fish served with Peruvian corn (which has GIANT kernels, by the way). I also had a traditional starter - chicken salad served over polenta!
